It’s a civil war. The ceasefire that held since 1865 is over. I wish that more white American people had listened to Black people because, as the ancient African-American proverb says, “We tried to tell y’all.”

Here’s the thing that MUST be understood. African-Americans are NOT immigrants. We arrived in the US against our will and as a result, we understand better than any group, apart from Indigenous People, the true character of The United States of America. We didn’t arrive with delusions of melting pots and limitless possibilities. We didn’t arrive filled with delusions of streets paved in gold and freedom. We sure as fuck didn’t arrive in freedom. So, we know you, America. We know you better than immigrants to your shores know you. We know what’s behind the mask.

So when people say stupid shit like, “We’re better than this,” it angers me beyond reason. What evidence do you have that we’re better than this? Was it the Chinese Exclusion Act? Is that your evidence? Or maybe your evidence that “We’re better than this” was Japanese internment camps or Jim Crow or The Trail of Tears or Slavery or “Operation Wetback?” Please, bring your receipts and show me how America has ever been better than this?

But now the government is killing white people and white people are shocked while Black people repeat for the eleventy-billionth time, “We tried to tell y’all!” With our votes in November of 2024, 85% of us tried to tell y’all that this syphilitic orange imbecile was going to get us all killed. But 70% of white men and 55% of white women said, “Please, Sir. Give us another heaping, helping of your delicious shit.” They forget shit rolls down hill and it will eventually get you. Always does. Don’t act like nobody tried to tell y’all.

I’m glad to see white people in the streets because this is your fight. It’s a white civil war because those of us without delusions about the character behind the mask did what we could to avoid reaching this moment. Time for y’all to work this shit out. Don’t preach to us or beseech us to join…because lord knows they want to make the civil war a race war…preach and beseech those who voted for this. They’re not going to listen to us, but they might listen to their children, spouses, cousins, nieces and nephews. It’s hard tireless work, we know, so start now to bring reason to the people in your lives or excommunicate them. Do not consort with those who co-sign evil with their vote.

If you’re doing anything less, white people, you’re failing and part of the problem.
